"You couldnt be anymore gay if your name was Gaye Gayerson!" - Roseanne Conner on the TV show Roseanne

School is going well.  There is this one guy in class from Libya who is a Mr Know it All and me and this lady from Spain sit next to him and he's always correcting our pronunciation.  BITCH PLEASE.  It wouldnt be so odious if he didnt stutter so much when called to answer a question or if his guttural arabic didnt get in the way of HIS pronunciation.  So me and Belen (the lady from Spain) always make a crack about him in Spanish and call him Mustafa behind his back.  He's working our last nerve. As ever, Im the one always stirring the shit wherever I go... I forgot to tell you that last Friday we had a sub and she was the German version of Ellen DeGeneres.  Total (s)him.  It would have been better if she had her personality but she looked like Ellen but with the personality of a a bag of hair.  The only time she came to life was when we asked her if she taught beginners.  She was very adamant that she only taught higher levels.  Sheesh!  I know we were the bottom of the barrel but you would have thought we asked her if she was a log cabin republican or if she was getting back together with Anne Heche.  What a CU Next Tuesday.

This is going to be a rough week in terms of my personal life with B.  He's on a deadline for the next two weeks for a project he's presenting to the CFO of the company so it means I will see little of him or he'll be cooped up in the home office a lot...Oh!  And it's football season now in the States and B likes to watch that sport on TV so I will be a football widower for a while...

Hi Honey:

Have been thinking about you so good to read the blog and hear how things are going over there. Hang in there with school. I don't think I would be able to learn a new language in my advanced years, so I applaud your efforts. We had a veritable monsoon in Chicago this weekend so everything is wet and soggy. Jim and I are heading to Napa for the weekend to celebrate a 50th birthday of one of his friends. Should be fun. Otherwise, things are status quo. Oh one thing I've meant to tell you...about a day after we spoke, I was driving by the old RW building and what is there now but a store called Bo Concepts!!! I'll have to check it out.

Okay, thats the scoop from here. By the way, I totally remember the Karen comment from Will & Grace. I loved that show!!!
